Inauguration of "Shodh foundation" took place on 6th March 2022, in loknayak jay Prakash Narayan leprosy treatment centre by the Regional Co-ordinator of National Service Scheme(NSS) and Assistant principal of Sathaye College, Sir Vinod Gaware and the beautiful journey of "SHODH Foundation" began.
On 6th March 2022, Shodh foundation's first step was taken towards society,on this day volunteers of shodh foundation with the help of NSS, sathaye college (Autonomous), took an initiation and completed the road construction work at loknayak Jayprakash Narayan leprosy treatment center (vasai) and also gifted a cupboard on the behalf of Shri. Vijay (Sheth) Govind Patil to the leprosy patients in the treatment center.
On 13th March 2022, jaaniv charitable trust with the help of sathaye college (Autonomous), organized a farewell program for the very first batch of adivasi students of 10th standard. Our SHODH volunteers gave them a best wishes for their future and also offered them some advise regarding the board exam paper.
Survey on Agricultural Schemes in the padas of Virar.
On 1st May 2022, a survey was conducted among the people of adivasi pada of Bhatane village, regarding the schemes provided by the Indian government for the farmers and their uses. This survey was conducted in more than 50 houses in the village.
Shodh and education
On 1st May 2022, on the occasion of Maharashtra divas, volunteers of Shodh Foundation conducted small activities among the 10th standard students of adivasi pada of Bhatane village, Virar the only motto behind this activities was to guide these students about the importance of education for their future.
||वृक्षवल्ली आम्हां सोयरे||
On 24th July 2022, Shodh Foundation along with the Rotract Club of Virar conducted a tree plantation drive named as "वृक्षवल्ली आम्हा सोयरे". Under this drive 30-40 volunteers planted around 50 different types of plants in the grampanchayat of Bhatane, pachurkha village. This drive was an successful step towards the protection of environment.
Activity in Madh Island
On 6th August 2022, volunteers of Shodh Foundation conducted small activities and games for the children's below the age group of 14 years at madh Island. The intention of this activity was to create a social awareness and to increase interest about the education among the children. Shodh foundation will always continue to spread awareness among the society from such interesting activities.
Celebrating 75 years of independence and SHODH Foundation day.
On 15th August 2022, on the occasion of Independence day and shodh foundation day, 35 volunteers of shodh foundation conducted some activities for the senior citizens of Jeevan Sahara charitable trust's Bhuigaon, old orphanage, vasai. From our activity we tried to bring some smile and happiness to these senior citizens. Also on this day we celebrate our 1st year of establishment, we made promise to continue our work with more enthusiasm in the coming years.
Beach cleanup
As we all know every year after the day of Ganesh visarjan, the beaches get flooded with the tones of garbage. Keeping this in mind the volunteers of shodh foundation conducted a beach cleanup drive at Dadar Chowpatty, the very next day of Ganesh visarjan. We had collected approximately more than 1000 kg of garbage among which the major portion is a plastic waste, glass bottles etc, which can be very harmful to the marine animals.
Gandhi Jayanti
On 2nd October 2022, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, the volunteers of Shodh Foundation organized an online session, in which the documentary based on Mahatma Gandhi was presented. Also a lecture was conducted about the journey of the "Father of the Nation." 20-25 Shodh volunteers were attended this programme.
"Tamso ma jyotirgamay under Books Donation"
On 16th October 2022, on the occasion of Diwali, volunteers of shodh foundation have donated approximately 1500 clothes among the adivasi community of pachurkha, khadkepada, maupada, kakdepada, etc of Bhatane grampanchayat. One of our volunteer, donates some story books to the kids of this region. We have also conducted some activities and games for those children's. On 23rd October 2022, these activities made their Diwali vacation a bit more memorable and remarkable.
"Tamso ma jyotirgamay" under Diwali Celebration with School children.
On 23rd October 2022, under the title of
"तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय", our volunteers celebrated Diwali with the students of zilla parishad school of Bhatane village, virar. This activity become more memorable by the presence of boisar vidhansabha aamdar, shri Rajesh patil. 40 volunteers of shodh foundation conducted many activities like drawing, painting, lantern making, etc approximately 100 kids from standard 1st to 7th of nearly 4 padas were participated in this competition. Also we donate some stationary materials to this children's.
"Tamso ma jyotirgamay under Life Skills Session"
On 30th October 2022, shodh foundation under the title "तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय" with the help of Disha foundation has conducted some interesting activities for the students of slum areas in santosh bhavan, Nalasopara. The motto behind this activity was to increase their thinking power, decision making skills and to teach them the importance of the team work
"Constitution Day Celebration"
On November 26/11/1949, we got the precious gift of the Constitution. On this day, the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of the country and from 26th November 1950 we started to implement this constitution all over the country.
On the occasion of Indian constitution day,
"Shodh" organized the programme on 73rd Indian constitution day. In this programme our guest speaker "Purushottam pagare" (founder of shodh foundation) gives a lecture on topic:- "भारताचे संविधान".
He gave information about the history and importance of the constitution. Also we read our preamble of constitution and concluded our programme.
"शुभं करोति"
'SHODH' FOUNDATION welcome the new year with this brid phrase "शुभं करोति कल्याणं आरोग्यं धनसंपदा |शत्रुबुद्धि-विनाशाय दीपज्योती नमोऽस्तुते" and launch the initiative for the year 2023. SHODH FOUNDATION in association with GREEN INDIA INITIATIVE, and in the presence of Mr. Sachin shigwan, Founder and chairman of Green India initiative also popularly know as a 'Solar man' distributed a solar study lamp to the school students of tribal padas in Bhatane gram panchayat, virar. Total 51 solar study lamps were distributed to the school students. Along with this, in order to create awareness among the school students and young girls about menstruation and good and bad touch, our women volunteers interacted with the young girls and women present over there with respect to this topic. Also shodh Foundation has conducted a survey for a detailed review of the educational situation in the pada and from this our foundation will try to know the facts of the education of boys and girls living in the pada of Bhatane village in that regard to provide new ways of education for the children of the village in the future.
"Youth Day Celebration"
On the occasion of National Youth Day and his birth anniversary on January 12, 2023, volunteers of SHODH FOUNDATION has organized a quiz competition based on his biography. Also, to highlight the life skills, Shodh Foundation has organized a special life skills session to inculcate the seeds of the thoughts among the volunteers.
"Life Skills Session"
On January 15, 2023, Purushottam Pagare and Omkar Salvi, volunteers of Shodh Foundation, conducted a seminar session on organization/institution building, as well as life skills based topics on the 2nd day of the 7 days Shram Sanskar camp for 50 volunteers of National Service Scheme of Bhavan College (Munshi Nagar, Andheri P.) at Shantivan, Panvel. During the seminar, our volunteers imparted a practical knowledge to the students on how to build an organization and adopt the skills required for it, and the opportunities in the social sector and its aspects were explained to the students.
"Republic Day Celebration"
On 26th January 2022, on the occasion of Republic Day, a get-together was organized for all the volunteers of Shodh foundation at Annabhau Vartak Auditorium, Paranaka, Vasai. on behalf of Shodh Foundation and with the help of Vijay Govind Patil Foundation. The purpose of thus programme was to encourage cooperation among the volunteers and to create activeness in their numbers for various activities by taking part in recreational programs and various games. A total of 35 volunteers were enthusiastically participated in the activity organized today also the mission, vision and objectives of the organization were explained to all volunteers.
"Kagadachi karamat"
On Saturday, February 11, 2023, the volunteers of Shodh Foundation, at Zilla Parishad School Pachrukha in Bhatane village, together with the school students does an activity called 'Kagachi Karamat!' Under this activity, they teach those students to prepare paper crafts items. This program was carried out under the campaign of 'Bina Daptarchi shala' with the children.
"Chhatrapati Shivaji Mharaj Jayanti"
On February 19, 2023, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the volunteers of Shodh Foundation celebrated "Shivajanmotsav" with the students of Pratibha Vidya Mandir School, Khanivade, Virar. On this occasion the volunteers of the shodh foundation has conducted a session based on the history of Shivaji Maharaj for the students of class IX of the school, total 70 students were present along with the volunteers. During the session, they also reviewed the history of Maharaj through quizzes and interacted on how we should imbibe Maharaj's personality and his thoughts in the present times.
"Life Skills Session"
On Sunday 26 February 2023, a life skills session and training program was organized by Shodh Foundation. A total of more than 25 volunteers participated in the session held at Veer Savarkar Udyan, (Borivali) and gives a positive response to this session also our volunteers had registered their names for further activities and projects which are going to held in the upcoming days.
